Bedtime Ramblings

Why does it seem that we as a society are feeling the trauma from viewing war as an action of success when in fact war is a consequence of failure? Maybe this connects to diffusion of responsibility and the commodification of policy.
ex. climate policy, large scale climate policy isn't  moving at a significant pace to be effective but individuals are only talking about what singular person can do to contribute to the greater good resulting in everyday individuals to only effect their immediate environment not a global push to make policy for large corporate scale pollutants. You have "green" product for people to buy it only helps the environment so much but funds large corporations that are polluting on a greater scale than the "green" product saves.

Viewed resource as a global instead of local mentality

Look as an american citizen I personally have not had to live through anything really life threatening or difficult.
